Description

Adecco Public Sector's NHS client in the North West of England requires an IT Support Technician to work on a Picture Archiving and Communication System (PACS) implementation project. The contract is to start ASAP, will initially be for three months and the rate on offer is flexible for the right candidate, especially if you have prior experience of supporting PACS. The contract will fall outside of IR35.
Our client will soon be rolling out a new PACS system across a number of different sites and they require the support of a specialist PACS Engineer to assist with the rollout and post go-live support.

The key requirements of the roll will include:

. Day to day effective support of the PACS system and its associated peripherals.
. Supporting the build and rollout of PACS desktop workstations via a documented process.
. Troubleshooting issues with Active Directory based user access to the system and resolving permission issues.
. Supporting the configuration and testing of PACS and working closely with third-party suppliers to ensure an effective testing process.
. BAU support of PACS related issues that are passed on by the IT Service Desk.
. Supporting the rollout of PACS to new sites.
In order to be considered, candidates must be strong IT Support Engineers who, as a minimum requirement, have significant experience in supporting desktop and connected bespoke systems and applications within NHS settings. Ideally you will have experience of supporting PACS previously or will have supported the rollout of PACS.
This is an excellent opportunity to play a key role on a high-profile programme of work that will really help patient experience by the delivery of new, modernised technology for the NHS. Please apply now and don't miss out.
