Windows System Administrator - Freelance - Fully remote
Robson Bale are looking for a Windows System Administrator to come on board for a freelance opportunity, for an initial 6 month contract.
CANDIDATES MUST SPEAK BUSINESS LEVEL GERMAN
Market rate, 6 months contract
Technical skills:
- Assessing the stability, security, and scalability of installed Windows systems.
- Discussing system and server upgrades with IT managers.
- Plan and execute file share migration with minimal downtime
- Discussing on different FS technologies, DFS, Windows File share, Filer(Appliance base)
- Design and manage the backup and restore requirement for different file system
- Installing or upgrading Windows systems and Servers.
- Providing technical support for staff and Back End system users.
- Troubleshooting system and server errors.
- Reviewing system error logs and user-reported errors.
- Monitoring and updating the Windows codebase.
- Managing and troubleshooting user access to filers
- Monitoring system performance.
- Maintaining server architecture security and creating system backups.
- Manage and maintain Windows File shares
