I am recruiting for a Patch & Vulnerability Specialist to work on a remote basis with occasional travel to Leeds, London or Exeter.
ACTIVE SC CLEARANCE IS ESSENTIAL.
The role falls inside IR35 so you will need to work through an umbrella company for the duration of the contract.
You will assist with patching of the client's server estate. The estate includes Windows (2008 through to 2016), Linux (Oracle Linux, Ubuntu, Scientific Linux, RedHat and CentOS), VMware vCenter and ESXi and HPUX Servers.
You must have extensive experience working in patch management for a large estate.
Experience in using patch management tooling (such as ManageEngine's Patch Manager Plus).
Basic System Administrator skills covering one or more of the Operating Systems listed above is essential (between both candidates, we need all 4 OSs covered).
Relevant qualifications in Microsoft, Linux, VMware system administration is essential.
You must also have experience of automation tooling (such as Ansible/Ansible Tower and Puppet).
