Network Migration Engineer
Integrated Technology Services (ITS)
Salary: Negotiable Inside IR35
Location: Wales
Contract: 6 months
Working hours: Full time (37 per week)
Full clean Driving License essential
The Integrated Technology Services (ITS) network team is responsible for supporting this change programme and for delivering these projects through its partnership with its outsourced WAN partner.
What you'll be responsible for
Travelling to all office sites to give access to our service provider to install WAN Routers, and Openreach copper and fibre circuits. Overnight stay's will be required when necessary.
Ensuring effective planning of your activities to keep on top of the schedule of work.
Basic understanding of LAN technologies to perform simple tasks where required on site, such as kit swap out or small configuration changes as directed by senior technical analysts.
Work to detailed test plans on site with pre and post migration testing.
Remain Health & Safety compliant throughout the project, ensuring all policies and procedure are adhered to.
Ensure clear and regular communication of all work with the team.
Producing daily reports to show progress of activities and to pass back to central coordinator.
Professionally representing ITS to our internal customers.
Undertaking such other activities as may be required to fulfil the objectives of the role.
