Leading insurance provider is actively recruiting for an experienced Oracle DBA (Database Administrator) to provide support
across a diversified technical environment (high availability and DR, Private and Public Cloud (Aws, Azure), for Oracle, RDS, Postgress. addition to the administration of Database infrastructures, and the qualifications and automation of developments related to databases. Support in the migrations, upgrades and at major and varied projects for our customers. Support to security and audit topics if necessary. The support must be compliance with the QOS. Support in maintaining of the Databases in BAU.
Responsibilities to be undertaken by the Oracle DBA (Database Administrator) production:
- Support in various Migration projects
- Support in secure technical Oracle solutions and (Iaas and Paas) cloud databases infrastructures
- Support at the installation, configuration and upgrading of Database server software and related products
- Support in the evaluation of new features and DB related products
- Support in case of establish and maintain backup and recovery policies and procedures
- Support in cases of the Database design and implementation
- Support at the implement and maintain database security
- Setup and maintain documentation and standards
- Support of the global team
- Support to perform general technical troubleshooting
- Co-Work with vendors for technical support.
- Support in patch Management and Version Control
- Support in the management of production and incidents in the perimeter
- Support at automate, industrialize and improve the functioning of the Database infrastructure, using
Puppet
- Support of the organization and execution of major operations
Essential experience required for the position of Oracle DBA (Database Administrator) production
Demonstrated experience in database administration:
- Oracle (11c, to 19g with multitenant).
- Postgres knowledge would be appreciated.
- Experience with Public Cloud AWS, Azure.
- Terraform knowledge will be appreciated.
- Good knowledge on Linux environments
- Scripting skills (Shell, Sql)
- Oracle Database administration
