AWS Security Engineer, CISSP, £500pd, AWS Cert., Cyber Security, SC Cleared, Remote, 3 months+, £Good.
Our client are looking for an Experienced AWS Security Engineer to join their team for an initial 3 month+ period, with opportunity to also extend thereafter. This role will be remote based in the main, but flexibility may be needed as well further down the line. You will also need to be SC cleared to be successfully considered for this role, as the client will also verify the clearance is acceptable prior to onboarding.
As part of the responsibilities, you will maintain the security environment, including the identification and implementation of requirements, identifying issues, Cyber security issues in SCIP environments, assessment of Firewalls, Intrusion Detection, Intrusion Prevention, SSL, Antivirus.
To be considered for this role, you will need to be-
A UK citizen.
Degree educated with 10+ years relevant experience
Good written/Oral skills and a self starter.
Familiar with the Agile process
AWS Cloud experience.
You will need to be AWS certified, CISSP preferred. You will have experience with Firewalls, Linux, HBSS, ACAS, IDS/IPS, Splunk, Audits, Cyber Security and Hardening
