Azure Architect/Infrastructure/System Upgrade/O365/£pd/Contract
Role: Azure Architect
Location: London
IR35 status: Inside
Contract Duration: 6 months (view to extend)
My client who are an MSP are looking to recruit based on a key piece of work for their end client centred around their infrastructure & technology.
On this occasion my client is looking for an experienced Azure Architect who can deliver the following infrastructure tasks within the organisation.
You will be responsible for the following:
- Design/Implementation for new systems, applying key changes and upgrades to existing systems
- Applying the relevant technical strategies, policies, standard and practices
- Providing advice regarding technical aspects of system development and integration, operational and maintenance aspects of systems under development stages.
- Ensuring that technical staff on site understand new/upgraded systems.
- Creating process documentation and systems for handover to Support Teams.
- Support the organisation in the development of IT solutions
- Work closely with the Technical Delivery Manager and Project Manager to create detailed plans to deliver relevant developments in a timely manner to ITIL/PRINCE2 methodologies
- Monitoring Technical progress and informing the Project Managers of major technical issues.
- Working with the Technical Delivery Manager and Project Manage to create details plans and ensure the delivery of relevant developments to ITIL/PRINCE2 methods.
My client is looking for the below knowledge and training:
- Management of complex Office 365 environments is essential
- Strong experience of maintain and managing complex Azure AD domains
- Actively engaged in the Microsoft Certified Professional Education Programme
- Relevant technical qualifications (MCSA, MCSE, CCNA, ACPE, TMA, etc)
- PRINCE2 Practitioner
- ITIL foundation certificate
- Degree level qualification or equivalent
- Good experience of PowerShell and Scripting.
- Managing SCCM including update management, OS and App deployment.
- Competent with delivering complex ITS projects
- Extensive knowledge of Microsoft server product suite
