ROLE
We are looking for an experienced solution architect to drive our global client's most critical projects and services. You will use your passion for architectural design to motivate and inspire the project delivery team, creating and maintaining the roadmap of technical products and acting as SME in Cloud Computing Technologies. You will be comfortable working with key senior stakeholders, and able to communicate technical solutions with non-technical users effectively.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Analyse and shape business requirements, process, and problems
- Adhere to technical standards and principles to inform solutions design and ensure they are correctly employed in all technical initiatives
- Provide governance, architectural guidance, architectural reviews, and key design decisions across a range of products
- Act as a key point of escalation to the product teams, mediating and resolving conflicts
- Regularly engage with stakeholder groups
- Evangelise architectural best practices and identify new opportunities on standardising product capabilities through reusability
ESSENTIAL SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:
- Extensive experience with AWS and cloud-native technologies
- Specific experience of solution development on a Microservices architecture platform
- A Bachelor's (or higher) degree, ideally in Computer Science, MIS/IT, Mathematics, or equivalent work experience
- A confirmed background in architecture with real-world experience of architecting, designing and delivering large IT products within an Agile environment
- Experience in domain driven design
- Experience designing and architecting solutions for large scale migrations
- Solution architect qualifications (eg, TOGAF)
