Description
To carry out the routine operations of the Society's core systems as necessary to ensure that systems are available as required by the business and our external customers.
This will include
Security backups and restores
Housekeeping
Starting and stopping services as required by the business
Maintaining the integrity of the datacenters (including DR sites) and escalating any issues and concerns.
Managing infrastructure requests going into the datacentres and requests to decommission existing infrastructure.
Managing any access requests into the Datacentre and ensure the change process has been followed.
Onsite monitoring of the batch schedule
Escalating faults, problems and incidents in line with existing process.
Responsibility for monitoring and switching production services to DR systems as required and following the agreed procedure.
Production of customer pin numbers Monday to Friday for ATM cards.
Transmission of daily files to BACS containing customer transactions
Responsibility of Faster Payment files both in and out. Ownership and escalation of any issues
Daily maintenance of all test databases to include rollovers and adhoc work
Providing basic user support outside of service desk core hours for example password resets.
Adhoc support to the service support team providing expertise on PC and Laptop builds.
