Senior SOC Engineer | SC cleared | 8 months
Jefferson Frank are currently working with a large IT consultancy in search for an engineer with security and cloud experience to manage the security operations centre.
The candidate must have an active SC clearance!
The role of the SOC Engineer is to manage the security operations centre elements of the Private Cloud implementation, based on Microsoft Azure Stack Hub (MASH). This work will start July 2022 based in Corsham (2x week) with a very strong possibility for extension, and will cover standard SOC functions and elements of vulnerability identification.
Key duties
- Oversee the day to day running of the SOC (Security Operations Center)
- Familiarity with a range of COTS security tooling
- Specific Arcsight of equivalent experience
- Support wider test and assurance activities
Required competencies
Ability to work well in a mixed client
Ability to quickly pick up new technologies (ie MASH)
Desired competencies
Specific Arc sight of equivalent experience
Experience with COTS AV/Malware products
