We are IT Recruitment Specialists partnered with a prestigious Global Consultancy who required a PAM Engineer-(Remote) for one of their Public sector Clients based in UK.
IR35: This role is inside of IR35
Initial duration: 6 months +Extension
Role Description:
The Specialist Engineer job is responsible for providing engineering expertise in a specialist Technology engineering area, working with a team of engineers as part of a large programme team
Essential Skills
- Proven experience of working in a global scale highly regulated environment with focus on security and automation
- Strong skills in PAM tools (Hashicorp vault/CybrArk), Windows and Unix operating systems including build, configuration and support of large infrastructures at an Engineering level
- Experience in developing with at least one Scripting language and understanding of error handling, input validation and type checking
- Candidates should be self-motivated, able to work on tasks unsupervised and have strong communication skills
- Positive team player working as part of a large programme
- Accountability for deliverables and proven track record of delivering on schedule
Desirable Skills
- HSBC experience
- DBA knowledge - MS-SQL preferred
- Ansible or similar tool
- PowerShell, REST and Github
- Strong troubleshooting skills
- Experience of working with global teams
