Lead Infrastructure Engineer (Cloud Systems Infrastructure Lead Senior Engineer AWS Amazon Web Services Azure GCP Azure Active Directory Azure AD PowerShell Python Bash Route53 Side Asset Manager Investment Management Hedge Fund Finance Agile) required by our asset manager in London.
You MUST have the following:
- Good experience as a Senior or Lead Infrastructure Engineer/Systems Engineer/Cloud Engineer
- Good experience with AWS
- Excellent Active Directory at an enterprise level
- Scripting- Python, PowerShell or other
The following is DESIRABLE, not essential:
- Route53
- Azure AD
- Global infrastructure engineering experience
Role: Lead Infrastructure Engineer (Cloud Systems Infrastructure Lead Senior Engineer AWS Amazon Web Services Azure GCP Azure Active Directory Azure AD PowerShell Python Bash Route53 Side Asset Manager Investment Management Hedge Fund Finance Agile) required by our asset manager in London. You will one of three teams that sits within infrastructure operations working on, primarily, AWS and Active Directory. They are running a number of key projects such as full account creation automation on AWS, bringing the timeframe down from 6 weeks to a few minutes; a Route53 Resolver implementation and a number of others.
The scale is global and often complex with 1000's of instances. Ideally, you will come from a comparably sized environment. Experience with AWS is key. In this area, they work heavily with IAM, Route53, S3, EC2, ECS. They also have some Azure and GCP. You will need to come with Active Directory and ideally, Azure AD. Splunk and Apigee would also be beneficial but are not compulsory. You should be able to script in a language whether Python, PowerShell or something else.
You will be the first hire in London for this team which is, otherwise, in the US. There are plans to build the team further in London. There will also be opportunities for this role to progress into architecture or management.
There is hybrid remote working and 9am-5pm hours.
