Application Support Analyst required to join a global energy company based in Aberdeen on a 6 month contract!
For this role you will be tasked with providing support on a range of engineering applications as the company aim to deliver a number of key projects to their clients. You will work closely with the internal IT team and service desk partner to support application such as Autodesk Vault, Orcaflex, Ansys and MathCAD. On top of this you will also be expected to help with various system audits and the testing and configuration of any changes made.
For this role you must have experience of providing support on a wide range of engineering applications as well as experience working within a customer focused ITIL driven environment. You will also come from a solid IT Infrastructure background and be experienced working on a range of IT applications/hardware such as Windows Desktop, Windows Server, and Microsoft SQL Servers.
Key skills and experiences:
* Worked with a range of engineering applications such as Autodesk Vault, Orcaflex, Ansys, and MathCAD
* Experience working within and sticking to a strict ITIL Framework
* Comfortable working within a customer/client facing role
* Solid communication skills
* Conduct system audits and manage all testing and configuration
