Description
Reporting to the Head of Business Operations, this role will lead IT Asset Management delivery for the Enterprise, responsible for ensuring robust data management. The role will deliver the transformation of Software and Hardware Asset Management into a fully aligned ITAM capability, maintained by comprehensive processes and cohesive toolsets.
Provide leadership for Hardware Asset Management delivery, including EUC, Servers & Network devices
Provide leadership for Software Asset Management including configuration and compliance
Manage relationships with 3rd party suppliers
Day to day management of the ITAM team of 10, with 3 direct reports
Lead on ITAM Transformation Delivery
Act as the interface between EITS with Office of the CIO and Sectors in developing and communicating the ITAM strategy
Assess the overall ITAM services, toolsets and stakeholder mapping and produce a recommendation/proposal
Lead the Enterprise IT transformation, aligned with IM&T Modernisation Workstream, to deliver agreed single corporate sponsored approach to ITAM
Key Accountabilities
Ensuring compliance with software licensing and usage legislation
Accountable for the strategic direction and improvement of the ITAM service
Asset data reporting is accurate, timely and communicated appropriately
Processes are followed and maintained to ensure robust management
Ensure all Software Compliance risks are reported, tracked and mitigation actions in place
Provide overall leadership to software publisher audits and internal SAM audit activities
Communication of compliance position, potential risks and future plans with senior leadership and the Sectors
Manage the relationship with 3rd party partners supporting the ITAM life cycle
Qualifications
- ITIL Foundation
- Proven track record of senior stakeholder management and excellent communication skills
