Network Architect - Cisco MSO/Nexus
Location:- London and Hybrid Working
Term:- 6 months+
Rate:- £c400p/day inside IR35
Environment:- Cisco MSO, Cisco Nexus, Architecture, Solution Design, Cisco ACI Fabric, VMWare, NSX-T
My client, a leading telecoms company is looking for specific skills on a large scale Cisco MSO to Nexus architecture and deployment.
The role is working on a large scale project which could go on for 18 months starting with an initial 6 months.
Technology and skills required
- Architecting an resilient ACI OOB Network Management solution that does not depend on an ACI Fabric that it is meant to manage failure
- Experience in architecting a Cisco ACI MSO to Nexus migration path.
- Experience in architecting a Cisco APIC upgrade path
- Experience in Data Centre Routing and Nexus to ACI Migration programmes
- Supporting the migration of services onto a VMWare NSX-T platform. This includes creating industry standard global and specific service policy sets and use of vRealize Network Insight to build requisite visibility on identified application flows.
- Experience in building automation use cases within NSX-T as part of a Micro Segmentation programme.
