Franklin Fitch is engaged with a financial services client to bring in an experience Technical Build Manager/Project Coordinator to work on a large scale modernisation project working with cutting edge network equipment.
Duties
- Network planning & design/engineering for LAN hosting environments and a global MPLS WAN network
- Private circuit planning/provisioning & 3rd party network providers
- DC & 3rd party PoP space & power planning
Skills and Experience
- Collaborating with network designers to confirm and finalise designs sufficient to build sites, identify and articulate design gaps
- Working with Project Managers, ISMs, Capability managers
- Liaising with business units to understand requirements, report back, meet timelines
- MPLS concepts, ISPs, cloud connectivity, multicast, Realtime market data, Firewalls, ACI
- Complex network infrastructure delivery and build planning in large brownfield data centre/3rd party co-lo environments
- Collaborating with 3rd party co-lo providers, equipment vendors and telcos to define plans and deliver network deployments in a timely manner
- Network workload migration analysis and planning for critical networks and applications
- Plan, support and migrate multiple network services from Legacy WAN to NG WAN
- Documenting solutions and new builds for support & engineering teams
