- Desktop Support Analyst - Manchester
- 3 Month contract to begin with plus further extensions
- £20.13 per hour (Umbrella)
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a forward thinking highly skilled and motivated Desktop Support Analyst to join the End User Device programme with a proven track record of project delivery. You will be responsible for delivering excellent customer focused technical support during a time of great investment and technological change within a Manchester based Local Authority.
The team has responsibility for deploying all end user devices, these include Mobile Phones, Tablets, Laptops, Desktops, Monitors and Printers. You will be required to provide hands on technical support to resolve incidents and service requests
The successful role holder will have the opportunity to:
- Be part of a multi-million-pound transformation programme.
- Assist with the planning, implementation, and delivery of an ongoing End User Device programme.
- Implement technologies and solutions that provide end user device security and compliance to PSN standards.
- Perform tasks as necessary to fulfil service level agreements with key stakeholders regarding Core application availability and security.
- Develop, document, and maintain policies and procedures.
You will be able to demonstrate experience and knowledge of the following:
- Physically remove old equipment and replace with new.
- Good knowledge and experience of Microsoft Operating Systems
- Proven experience of working within a large ICT support environment.
- Experience of managing mobile devices.
- Knowledge of Active Directory and Group Policy
- Full U.K Driving Licence
