Database Administrator (DBA)/Hampshire/6 month contract/£550 - £630 Per Day Inside IR35
One of our leading clients in the market are currently seeking a Database Administrator to join the team. The position will be utilised to support and backfill the current Tier 3 Delivery team in delivering database focused solutions. This will include direct involvement in ongoing or new deliverables predominantly focussed on SQL deployments.
Role: Database Administrator (SC Cleared)
Location: Hampshire - Onsite Requirement
Duration: 6 month contract
Rate: £550 - £630 Per Day Inside IR35 (dependent on experience)
Must hold SC (Security Clearance)
Essential Experience
- Extensive, demonstrable knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server systems management and development
- Extensive familiarity with data management principals and best practices to ensure performance and consistency
- Excellent knowledge in database installation, migration and configuration
- Demonstrable experience of high availability features
- Detailed understanding of query optimisation and performance tuning techniques
- Knowledge of implementing solutions with robust recovery plans
- Familiarity with Microsoft T-SQL
- Experience in Microsoft Data Platform and other cloud or edge computing focused environments
- Microsoft SQL Server Reporting/Analysis/Integration Services
- Knowledge across Windows Server operating system versions
- Familiarity with database automation technologies
- Experience in capacity planning and performance tuning
- Experience in full development and project life cycles
- Must hold Security Clearance (SC)
