Description
Our client who specialises in digital transformation, requires a SC cleared, Performance Test Engineer to join a team specilising in benchmarking and executing performance tests using JMeter, and Grafana or App Dynamics for visualization and reporting.
You will be experienced providing Performance Engineering skills in a multi-vendor environmenton on large-scale public sector system implementations.
What experience will you need for this role:
- Ability to write and execute performance test scripts using JMeter
- Experience of identifying performance bottlenecks and making suggestions for performance tuning
- Familiarity with Grafana and App Dynamics for visulation and subsequent reporting
- Ensure that the performance test scope, plan and preparation is correctly defined, reviewed and approved
- Track record working on large public sector programmes
- Support defect management, triage and relevant reporting
- Strong influencing and excellent communication skills to provide effective stakeholder management
- Valid and active Security Clearance (SC)
Our client is expecting a start date in early June and this project is expected to run for 12 months, however initial contract will be issued for 3 months.
This role will be hybrid but include some onsite activity in the Midlands.
You can expect a determination of outside of IR35
