Working for a leading mobile network provider; As a DevOps Engineer you are responsible for the development of our current network to a future state-of-the-art virtualized network. This includes our 5G technology within our new Mobile Core, in which network functions are increasingly being implemented as software functions and their control is increasingly automated.
Knowledge
o Hands-on experience (design, test, implementation, and maintenance) on mobile signalling platforms, namely MSTP and DRA:
o Experience on Oracle STP and DSR
o SS7 signalling/SIGTRAN protocol stacks advanced knowledge
o Diameter signalling advanced knowledge
o Excellent knowledge/experience of mobile core domain:
o Knowledge of the different traffic flows within mobile core: 2G/3G/4G
o Understanding of 3GPP technical specifications related to mobile core network services and functions
o Development and operations work experience (design, test, implementation, and O&M)
o IP Networking: Switching, Routing, Firewall and ACL's.
o Security knowledge: Identity and Access Management, secure protocols, vulnerabilities management, etc.
o Knowledge of traffic monitoring tools, such as Tekelec/Oracle PIC.
o Basic Knowledge of test tooling, such as GL-tool/Landslide
