Job Title: 1st/2nd Support Role
Contract - Inside IR35
Rate: PD
Location: Daventry & Coventry
Full Time On Site
Length: 6 months
The ideal candidate has responsibility supporting Daventry and Coventry Warehouse during the high season and being able to provide swift response to any ICT Support request. They are looking for a self-motivated IT operational support person with all-round skills, to support and manage LAN/WAN architecture as well as Servers and PCs.
The service technician will be responsible for pro-actively handing all hardware related issues and regular updating and closing incidents in Drive- IT or any other Service Desk systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Adding new user accounts, removing old or managing passwords resets
- Supporting CCTV, door access control and Telephony
- 1st line support for any ICT issues
- Experience managing MAC, Windows & Ubuntu.
- Support LAN and WAN services, Switches, Firewall and associated infrastructure - until fully migrated onto corporate network.
- Support transition of services to new corporate network
This role requires travel to both sites (Daventry and Coventry - 22 Milles apart)
Working hours, 09:00 to 17:00 Monday to Friday, excluding bank holidays
The site at Daventry is affected by agricultural seasonal demand and will require extended services during this period. High Season varies, but generally runs April to October with extended business hours up to 08:00 - 22:00 and includes weekends and bank holidays. The technician should be on-call/contactable to respond to any critical issues.
