Job Description:
• Build database systems of high availability and quality depending on each end user’s specialized role
• Design and implement database in accordance to end users' information needs and views
• Define users and enable data distribution to the right user, in the appropriate format, and in a timely manner
• Hands-on experience with database standards and end-user applications
• Excellent knowledge of data backup, recovery, security, and integrity of SQL, Oracle DBA, and DB2 LUW DBA
• Familiarity with database design, documentation, and coding
• Experience supporting MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB or NoSQL environments
• Previous experience with DBA case tools (frontend/backend) and third-party tools
• Recommends, reviews and approves the design of logical and physical data models and file structures
• Provides advanced-level database management support and assistance
• May perform all of the duties and responsibilities of a Data Base Administrator 2
• Analyzes develop and implement disaster recovery plans
• Develops plans to install, maintain, enhance, test and migrate DBMS products and supporting software
