Microsoft Applications Development Manager/Apps Support Team Leader, £480 p/d Outside IR35 - Ideally SC Cleared.We are currently recruiting for an Applications Development Manager/Apps Support Team Leader to join one of our clients for a 6 month initial contract. They are offering £480 per day OUTSIDE IR35.
This role will require someone to be on site up to 5 days per week, based near Milton Keynes (commutable from Northampton, East Midlands, Bedford, Luton and North London).
SC clearance is required for this role. Therefore, you will need to be SC or DV Security Cleared or eligible to undertake SC Security Clearance.
Hybrid working, with additional hours/on call working available.*
During this role you will be required to lead a team of Application and Development Engineers delivering applications PaaS and SaaS solutions. The team currently consists of 15 people. The role will involve day-to-day management of PaaS and SaaS support services in accordance with SLAs, resolving incidents/problems which have been escalated from within the Service Desk.
Skills and Experience Required:
- Experience of leading a PaaS/SaS/DevOps team's in a complex highly available secure enterprise environment.
- MS Windows 2012+ (MCSA qualification)
- MS .NET Programming
- MS SQL DBA (MCDBA Qualification)
- MS Sharepoint (MCP SharePoint)
- ITILV3/4
- Management of bespoke built applications
- Delivery of Application management in an enterprise environment
- Management of Application Services in an Virtual environment
- Knowledge of Application Load balancing
- Application Management and Reporting
- Knowledge of development languages
- Experience in working within a secure environment understanding security requirements.
Desirable Skills/Experience:
- Knowledge of IT Service Management toolsets ie Service Now
- Experience working within VMware environments.
- Experience working within cloud environments (AWS, Azure).
A flat fee is payable for completing an on-call shift of £50 for a 12 hour weekday shift (7pm - 7am) and £100 paid for a 24 hour weekend or bank holiday shift (7.00am - 7.00am) whether the individual is called upon or not.
