Key Responsibilities:
Responsible for the hardware design and validation of consumer electronic devices like STBs and Broadband Gateway Routers.
Primary Skillset
Schematic design and entry.
Hardware bring-up, system integration, debugging, Functional testing, validation, and optimization of systems.
Platform/SoC, component selection, second source identification.
CAD PCB layout review.
Failure analysis and fixing issues.
Preferred Skillset
Coordinating with the cross-functional teams for product development and bring-up.
Power and thermal analysis.
Supporting EMI, EMC, and ESD testing and working on to fix the issues raised during the test.
Supply chain and manufacturing support.
Technical presentations depending on the need of stakeholders with appropriate details.
Technical documentation ie, Hardware design, test plan & test report, etc.
