Role: Power Electronics Engineer

Contract: 6 months

Location: 100% Remote

IR35: Outside

Start Date: Jan 2023

My client is looking for a Power Electronics Engineer to support them with the design of Gate Drivers for high Power Inverter development to be used for Electric Vehicle & Rail Applications.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and development of inverter module with discrete devices in parallel
  • Design and development of gate drive board for power semiconductor devices, design documentation and review
  • Ensure hardware solutions and detailed technical design, schematic and PCB design according to technical specifications
  • Circuit testing, validation and calibration work, and complete test specifications and reports

Person Specification

  • More than 5 years working experience on power electronics product design
  • Familiar with inverter design especially with the discrete devices in parallel
  • Experience with high power switching power supply development project from 450VDC-850VDC, 15KW+
  • Good at Altium Designer, Cadence, Creo or similar software
