Finance Lead
12 Month Contract + Extension
Remote (ADHOC on site)
£600 p/d Inside IR35

Role Summary:
* This role will be responsible for the strategic leadership and service delivery of financial operations within CSIR. They will develop the strategy for continuous improvement, deliver process improvement initiatives in financial operations within CSIR and partner with wider stakeholder groups to drive change improvements across the organisation when required
* Responsible for the development, management, and ongoing maintenance of the budget. Expectation that the individual fulfilling the role will create and maintain a budget plan that underpins the client's strategy beyond 2025
* Commercially astute, they will work closely with shared service providers to manage performance and support the procurement and implementation of new services and systems that take advantage of technological developments
* In addition, as financial operation affects all parts of the department, including the implementation of new policies and strategic outcomes, they will likely find themselves working alongside other finance, policy, and strategic SMEs managing cross-cutting issues.

Responsibilities:
* Manage the effective delivery of financial operations across the department
* Partner with suppliers and stakeholders to identify and capture opportunities for improvements
* Develop effective policies for all areas and processes across CSIR finance operations, monitoring they continue to be fit for purpose and aligned to NH group processes
* Develop effective working relationships with organisational wide stakeholders and business units where a collaborative approach is needed to achieve success
* Provide advice to senior executives and boards as appropriate.
