Job Title: ServiceNow CMDB Analyst - Inside IR35
Location: Glasgow/Remote
Salary/Rate: Between £500 and £600 per day
Start Date: 19/12/22
Job Type: 6 Month Contract

We have an exciting opportunity now available with one of our sector-leading consultancy clients! They are currently looking for a skilled ServiceNow Business Analyst to join their team for a six-month contract.

Key responsibilities:

  • Day to day facilitation of the Configuration process and administration of the CMDB
  • Manages the day-to-day activities of the configuration management process; ensuring operating procedures are documented to support the activities
  • Manages the CMDB health via the ServiceNow CMDB Health Dashboards.
  • Creates and manages the Service Mapping roadmap using the ServiceNow Service Mapping capability
  • Assures that all operational services (and those being prepared) are recorded within the CMDB
  • Maintains the Configuration Management System, including the CI data model and relationship
  • Required Skills/Experience

    The ideal candidate will have the following:

  • Extensive experience of working with ServiceNow in an equivalent role
  • Experience of working with and managing 3rd Party delivery partners
  • Experience of managing business stakeholders and service delivery
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to think laterally and conceptually
  • Experience in managing backlogs of work, control of priorities, and resolution of conflicts
  • Ability to contribute to a team of peers, as well as within own team
  • Self-motivated and highly organised with strong attention to detail
  • Ability to focus on continuous improvement and developing strong working practices
  • Excellent written/verbal communication and presentation skills with experience of reporting to a senior audience
  • Desirable Skills/Experience

    Although not essential, the following skills are desired by the client:

  • Cloud Discovery
  • Tag-Based mapping
  • Tag based Governance
  • Proven experience of setting up and configuring Cloud Discovery - AWS and Azure
  • Relevant ServiceNow qualifications
  • Be an adaptable communicator that can translate complex messages and influence positive outcomes
  • Establish and maintain excellent internal and external stakeholder relationships through which a deep understanding of both current and future needs can be clearly identified
  • Plan and supply activities and solutions, as appropriate, to fulfil these needs
  • Plan and manage technical quality assurance activities to ensure quality standards are maintained and to facilitate the improvement of products and services
  • In the event of major issues, co-ordinate all relevant activities, where reasonable, to ensure efficient performance and return to normal conditions as soon as possible
