Description
We are looking for a hands-on experienced Linux Engineer to join an urgent project working with one of our financial service's clients.
The successful contractor will have technical knowledge of the Linux Server Operating System (RHEL) Practical experience with Automation, Configuration, or Security tools (ie, Ansible, Powerbroker, Chef, Jenkins, etc.)
Essential skills:
- Experience working on RHEL, preferably RHEL 7+.
- Automation skills. Python, go, ruby, bash etc.
- CI/CD exposure such as Jenkins
- Configuration management skills/experience
- Ansible/Chef ideally
- Deep knowledge/skills of engineering on RHEL, such as modifying Kernel parameters, exposure to system, Network Manager and other key OS toolsets.
- Automating builds using packer or using CI/CD pipelines would be highly beneficial.
