Description

Senior IT Service Desk Officer

(Please note that we are looking only for a Dutch speaker)

Responsible for:
  • Providing technical assistance to computer system users, and helping staff in the best possible use of IT systems and applications.
  • Providing communication equipment accessibility for customer base.
  • Following up on internal requests + ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Training new employees.
  • Contributing to a joint result or solution, even if it concerns an issue of no direct personal interest.
  • Working closely with business stakeholders at most critical moments.
  • Setting goals and priorities, as well as indicating what time, actions and resources are needed to achieve this.
  • Providing support to the customer base (internal/external).
  • Being focused on efficient and personal service to customers, both in and outside the organisation. Anticipating and researching customer needs and wishes. Thinking from the customer's perspective and being focused on customer satisfaction.
  • Responding well to changing situations. Adapting his/her own behavioural style without losing sight of the original objective.


Skills / experience needed:
  • 5+ years of relevant work experience and experience on platforms/systems/applications.
  • ITIL knowledge, Analytical skills and Comprehensive knowledge with TOP desk.
  • Customer-focused attitude with strong communication skills.
  • Strong in Dutch and English, both written and verbal.
  • Excellent planning and organisational skills.
  • Good stakeholder management skills and organisational sensitivity.
  • Collaborative and flexible attitude with strong interpersonal- and communication skills to inspire user confidence.
  • Some experience in coaching and in mentoring others.
  • Good knowledge of office automation (hardware + software)
