NOC Tooling engineer
* Fully remote work
*Inside IR35
*£400 - £450 a day
*SC cleared role
*6 months +
*Engineers require SC clearance.
*This role will be split between project work and BAU run support.
*Application specialists rather than networks.
*MS SQL and associated analysis and ETL tooling and Vertica
Skills include:
Linux Application Support
Linux admin and troubleshooting
Network monitoring and management (not necessarily traditional network engineers, those skills are desirable, but not essential)
API, LDAP, TLS
Database administration and querying, eg MySQL, Postgres, Vertica
Bash, Perl, python, PHP
Ansible
Microfocus ITOM software
For Zoom in particular, where we lack most of the following skills in the current team - this list came from the NMS lead software developer:
Windows application support
MSSQL - Strong experience writing and reading MSSQL, especially Stored Procedures.
SSIS - Sql Server Integration Services - Experience necessary, basic
SSAS - Sql Server Analysis Services - Experience necessary, basic
DAX - Experience Desired, basic
Power BI - Experience Desired, basic
Angular JS - basic, should be able to read code to assist development team in diagnosing issues
C# - basic, should be able to read code to assist development team in diagnosing issues
