Description
My leading defence client are looking for a technically sound security architect to be responsible for the security documentation sets, assuring build activity to security guidelines, and planning/facilitating formal security assurance pertaining to AWS Cloud technologies. You will also be responsible for planning, managing and remediating ITHC tests and ensuring the continuous monitoring of the network's security.
To be successful in this role as a security architect, you should be experienced in information security and IT risk assessment, with a strong understanding of security protocols, authentication, and security.
Candidates must have the following skills/experience
- Valid/Live UK SC Clearance - candidates without this can not be considered I m afraid
- AWS cloud platforms and security aspects thereof
- Experience of Defence Digital and relevant solutions and approaches across MOD
- Demonstrable experience of sole ownership/accountability of security deliverables such as RMADS, ITHC Scoping Document, ITHC Remediation Plan, and security input into technical reviews (MoD DART, MoD TRRA)
- A bachelors or associates degree in IT, computer science, or related field.
- Advanced IT security certifications may be advantageous.
- AWS certifications may be advantageous
- 5-10 years experience in information security and IT risk management.
- A strong working knowledge of current IT risks, security implementations, and computer operating and software programs.
