DevSecOps Engineer - k8s - GolangHybrid - 6 months - £720/£750 (Inside IR35) - London - Immediate Starters
This is an opportunity to work with one of the UK's most successful broadcast providers. It will be a chance to work with some of the latest technology on the market.
Individuals must have commercial experience in working with DevSecOps and strong engineering background.
Paying up to £750 (Inside IR35) depending on experience
- Have security or devsecops engineering background
- k8s knowledge is a must, Golang experience is preferred. It is largely still an engineering role, most of the security tools they have built or integrated with are written in Golang and in k8s platform hence the requirement
- Chaos or Penetration testing security experience who can help/drive to build such a team, process and suite will be preferred.
- New security team will need to be able to tackle (or challenge/hack) all security aspects for the engineering department that includes cloud, Kubernetes, node, Kernel, container, process, secret management etc. Engineers with vast security experience
- Mentoring more junior developers and driving and designing in house training.
- Maintain and contribute to software delivery principles and guidelines based on internal standards and industry best-practice
