IT Support Desk Technician
Inside IR35
£200/Day
Based in Crawley with Hybrid working (2/3 days per week)
My client are looking for an IT Support Technician who has good technical knowledge and a customer-oriented mindset
Job responsibilities:
- Act as the first point of contact for customers seeking technical assistance over the phone, email, IM or F2F.
- Perform remote troubleshooting through diagnostic techniques and pertinent questions
- Determine the best solution based on the issue and details provided by customers
- Walk the customer through the problem-solving process
- Direct unresolved issues to the next level of support personnel
- Provide accurate information on IT products or services
- Record events and problems and their resolution in logs
- Follow-up and update customer status information
- Pass on any feedback or suggestion by customers to the appropriate internal team Identify and suggest possible improvements on procedures
This contract would be suitable for someone with the following:
- Proven experience as a support desk technician or other customer support role
- Tech savvy with working knowledge of office automation products, service desk and desktop support.
- Good understanding of computer systems, PC's, mobile devices and other tech products
- Ability to diagnose and resolve basic technical issues with a first contact expected fix rate of 60%
