Description

We are currently looking for a ATM Technician/Staging engineer to work onsite in Rotherham for a global leading company. The role is Monday to Friday 08.30 to 5pm with 30 minute lunch looking for ASAP Start. Our client will only engage with umbrella company contractors therefore IR35 does not apply.

PC Core Testing (They have been in storage for ~2 years) Unbox, check the spec is correct, test with Quicktech pro

  • PC Core Pre Staging - Load live image via imaging server which is already in place (can do ~20 cores at a time) and configure comms.
  • Packaging + Dispatch - Label cores with site details, package up required kit into a single box and generate RICO labels (core + EPP kit usually + drill if they do not already hold one)
  • Stock Control - Ensure we have required stocks of parts on hand (Cores, EPP Kits, Drills are mostly held in secondary warehouse so will need pulling down at least a week in advance) and to track all outgoing parts to ensure we know where the kit is at all times
  • Investigate OBFs found during testing and resolve if possible using spares held at Rotherham and salvaged from returns
  • Returns - Sort through returned cores and recover any that can be upgraded or harvested for parts to aid future upgrades (only Talladegas should arrive back at Rotherham, others will be scrapped via WII labels)

Skills:

  • Previous ATM experience an advantage. Desktop PC hardware and software loading experience also advantageous. Self-motivated, organised and able to manage own time to deliver to set targets and output.
  • Able to read, write and clearly speak English. Must be able to follow instructions and scripts.
  • Fully mobile and fit as some light to medium lifting will be involved. There will be occasions that a ladder is to be used to climb up to 3meteres.
  • Able to effectively use Microsoft Office, especially Word and Excel, develop and maintain spreadsheets as needed and provide summary status reports to management/others as requested.
  • Must be able to use engineer tools, multimeter, and other test equipment. Must be able to use drill machine.
