Role - 2nd/3rd line Linux and Windows support

Description - The support environments are a mix of Windows and Linux. The ideal candidate would have at have 5 years or more of BAU experience.

Essential skills, competences, relevant qualifications and previous experience required (where appropriate):-

Essential

  • Linux - Centos, Rocky and Ubuntu
  • Windows Server 2016, 2019 and 2022

Key responsibilities

    • Resolve BAU tickets
    • Troubleshooting the more complex queries
    • User creation
    • Permissions Management
    • Escalation of unresolved ticket

Technical skills should include experience with at least three of the following -

  • Guacamole
  • KVM
  • Active Directory
  • Veeam
  • PDQ Deploy
  • FreeIPA
  • Check_MK or other monitoring solutions.
  • IPFire
  • Rundeck
  • HPE/Dell SANs

Desirable

  • Experience troubleshooting Analytical workbench packages such as R, R Studio, R Tools, Anaconda, Python/Pypi
