Operational Technology (OT) Architect, The Netherlands
We are looking for an experienced and talented Operational Technology (OT) Architect to join our client's team. As an OT Architect, you will be responsible for designing and implementing technology solutions that support operational processes in industrial and manufacturing settings. You will work closely with stakeholders to understand the requirements for automation, control systems, and data management, and develop architectures that align with business goals and strategies.
Role details:
- Assess current OT systems and processes to identify areas for improvement and optimization.
- Collaborate with business leaders, engineering teams, and other stakeholders to define technology requirements and develop solutions that support operational processes.
- Develop technology architectures that integrate hardware, software, and communication systems, ensuring scalability, security, and reliability.
- Create detailed technical specifications, diagrams, and documentation for implementation and ongoing support.
- Evaluate and select hardware and software products that meet operational requirements and align with the overall technology strategy.
- Identify and mitigate risks associated with OT systems, including cybersecurity threats, safety hazards, and system failures.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Several years of experience in designing and implementing OT solutions in industrial or manufacturing environments.
- Strong understanding of industrial control systems, SCADA systems, and other OT technologies.
- Experience in project management, including the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
- Familiarity with cybersecurity best practices and standards, including NIST, IEC 62443, and ISA/IEC 62443.
- Experience with cloud-based OT solutions and IoT technologies is a plus.

- Location: The Netherlands.
- Project length: 12 months, option to extend.
- Start date: ASAP.
