Labview Developer - Remote - 6 Month Contract - £60 - £63 per hour (Inside IR35) - SC Cleared

You will have a lead role developing and verifying safety-critical software systems and programmable systems to ensure that they overcome technical challenges, meet engineering standards and regulatory requirements.

You will work across a variety of projects, ranging from niche consultancy projects to large, high-profile programmes.

Working Pattern: Remote with some travel to Bristol and/or Ipswich. More time to spent on site during the first few weeks.

The Key Responsibilities of a Labview Developer:

  • Take a lead role in the safety-critical software team, developing and verifying software using Labview.
  • Ensuring clients software meet engineering standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Debugging Labview Real Time systems.
  • Performing integration, factory-acceptance and site-acceptance testing.

Below is a list of Key Skills required for the Labview Developer role, however you will not be expected to have everything:

  • Use of LabVIEW to control Real Time systems (eg. PXI Real Time controller, cRIO Real Time controller and cRIO FPGA controller).
  • Experience of debugging networks of LabVIEW-powered Real Time systems ideal.
  • Experience of integration, factory-acceptance and site-acceptance testing.
  • Experience of commissioning a system interfacing with customer's existing hardware ideally.
