Job Purpose and primary objectives:
Recruiting an experienced Network Architect who can quickly onboard and get started to work along with Cyber Security Team
Key responsibilities (please specify if the position is an individual one or part of a team):
To predict and proactively protect customer in engineering secure network solutions from inception to retirement, reducing the risk of a cyber event impacting customers, colleagues or reputation
Development of information security network components, tools, techniques, and methodologies which minimize the chance of creating vulnerabilities in the network
Lead complex Integration of security network products into more complex systems, including cloud-based systems
Working with others in Information Security and the wider Technology team, including the Networks team, produce network documentation suites for all levels of the organisation
Work with other areas of the information security team to build network knowledge, skills and risks
Provide technical guidance and leadership for the network portfolio of the products within the information security portfolio

Key Skills/Knowledge:
Strong network security knowledge, including diagnosing and troubleshooting
Knowledge and experience in one or more of the following areas:
o Hybrid cloud environment (Azure)
o Network Access Control (Forescout preferred) delivering in a OT environment using 802.1x and others
o Data Centre networking and wider LAN/WAN networks
o Web Proxy solutions (esp Zscaler)
o Firewalls (Checkpoint and Azure)
o Network routing and switching
Knowledge and experience in working with Operational Technology, especially control systems in a secure environment
Network implementation and support, including migration to public or private cloud, including all intermediatory stages of programmes
Working with information security operations and governance functions
Development and documentation of integrated network detailed designs, including all stages of deployment for high availability and scalability
Experience required:
