Description

Currently seeking a Technical Solution Designer for a growing consultancy working with a major Telecoms customer. The role will be mostly remote but with some occasional travel required to sites in London and/or Berkshire.

This is a customer facing role and will have responsibility for the low-level customer solution. Responsible for providing technical leadership and support to a virtual team of highly skilled professionals and for detailed customer design, development, delivery and test of complex WAN solutions. Engaging during the latter stages of the pre-sales cycle to provide technical assurance on complex solution viability and then ensure detailed solution compliance throughout delivery, only exiting once the solution is accepted into operation by the customer services organisation and warranty support period expired.

Applicants should have at least 5 years experience in technical solution design/architecture in the telecommunications space. With a proven track record for delivery of large scale, complex projects delivering IT/Telco customer solutions. Significant experience of the fixed product market, in depth understanding of complex customer WAN and LAN solutions with awareness of other enterprise solutions such as UC and Contact Centre. Preferably CCNA or CCNP certified, with in-depth knowledge of IP Networking, SD-WAN, Cisco ASA and other Firewall platforms.

Applicants must hold current SC level clearance.
