AWS Cloud Security Analyst
Location: Remote
Contract: Inside IR35
Day rate: Up to £ per day
Duration: 6 months +
Start date: ASAP
We have an opportunity with one of the UK's biggest Retailers who have a network of branches nationwide. Here you will join their large digital transformation programme where part of the programme involves migrating to off premise (AWS).
In this role you will be expected to perform traffic analysis, intrusion analysis and detection of threats based on system alerts and logs within an AWS environment.
Additional duties would include the authoring of security procedures. You will be required to monitor security related websites, forums, and mailing lists for information regarding vulnerabilities and exploits.
About you:
Good understanding of AWS Cloud Security
Experience of planning, execution, and remediation phases, as well as coordinating and tracking remediation activities.
Understanding of security architecture (nice to have)
Stakeholder Management
Knowledge of threat hunting techniques.
Key responsibilities:
Develop repeatable patterns and knowledge base articles for the Clients commonly occurring issues.
Assist in the analysis and remediation of findings discovered, through the use of automated tooling
Provide support for assessing risks associated with configuration weaknesses and unmitigated vulnerabilities.
