Chase Resourcing, Europe’s leading Education Recruitment Experts, are delighted to announce new positions  for our clients in Saudi Arabia. Our clients are a Saudi Arabia semi State organisation who are planning on opening four new training centres in 2014, which will help them train the next generation of Engineers.

We are presently looking to recruit 4 Heads of Technical Departments.  Reporting to the company managing director you will be required is to ensure quality and consistency of training across  the technical department of the colleges.

My clients are working towards offering Saudi Nationals a credible and internationally relevant qualification that will enable them to work in industry globally. In all of the training centres, the training staff will be able to  utilize  modern training facilities  in a supportive student environment which is a  key factor in all of the training and development programs on offer.

I am looking for someone from an engineering background who has strong managerial and training experience. You will ideally have previous Saudi Arabian or Middle Eastern working experience and will naturally be very culturally aware to the needs of the students, whilst also managing a multi-national, native English speaking workforce of trainers and teachers. The Role

  • Responsible for achieving positive student outcomes for technical training; with the training relevant to industry needs;
  • To ensure strategic planning  and management of the Technical Training Department  to meet the current and future needs of all stakeholders, including students, Saudi Government agencies associated with the project.
  • To provide leadership that creates valuable, positive, on-going, and sustainable change within the Technical Training Department.
  • To develop and manage strong and effective relationships with employers and external stakeholders.

Qualifications & Requirement

  • A tertiary qualification in Engineering is a MUST.
  • Qualification in quality assurance.
  • Significant experience in working in a tertiary institution
  • Experience in the development and implementation of business plans, policy, procedures and practices particularly with specific experience in successful delivery of quality assurance programs.
  • Able to exercise judgment in problem solving
  • Have the ability to be innovative, to question the status quo and to adapt to changing circumstances
  • Highly developed interpersonal and relationship skills
  • Demonstrated ability to work with colleagues to resolve issues and meet agreed outcomes

Salary and Benefits Package

The overall salary and benefits package is valued at roughly 500,000 Saudi Riyals, $135,000 USD, £80,000STG, €97,000EURO  TAX FREE which includes:
