Description

On behalf of one of our customers in London, we have been asked to find an ICAP Compliance Operational Lead Consultant for a 9 month contract with a start date of 05.01.2015.

The objective of the ICAP compliance consultant is to assess the effectiveness of the control designs and implementation when compared against best practices defined in the control catalogue.

You should ideally have a background in identity and access management as a lot of the work will involve looking at access management.


Responsibilities for the ICAP Operational Lead are:

• Overall responsibility for coordinating ICAP activities with the operations and engineering Leads.
• Ensuring metrics reporting is delivered in a timely manner.
• Assisting the operational teams in gathering reporting metrics by having access to systems themselves.
• Ensuring that each control has an end-to-end owner who is responsible for documenting the control they own and maintaining the documentation.
• Assisting the operational teams in shaping the metrics to ensure they meet the ICAP control standard.
• Gathering evidence that the ICAP controls are being met. – The Operational Lead should work with the operational teams to gather the evidence and coordinate with the Compliance Assurance Manager to ensure the evidence gathered is in line with the compliance reporting efforts for both ICAP and Audit. Additionally the lead could be the SME interface/POC for tracking remediation efforts for those areas that are non-compliant.
• Identifying and escalating operational resource issues to the senior management team.
• Operational interface between Risk Team and Operations/Engineering teams on ICAP issues
• Attending meetings with the client and presenting Operational Metrics efforts during Operational and Risk Governance meetings (e.g. Operational SME to address questions regarding specific actions).
Must haves

You must have an attention to detail.
You must have reporting and project management skills.
You must be skilled at reviewing and remediating business processes.
You must be highly proficient in Excel as you will need to manipulate and analyse a lot of data.

Previous financial services experience highly desirable as well as knowledge of Cisco ACS
