Description

Job Objectives

*To perform a project management roll to ensure that the fixed line infrastructure gets implemented according to the requirements.

*Liaising and communicating with different role players internally and externally to ensure projects are completed according to Business targets and budget.

*Collation of data to forecast the future requirements for planning purposes per access solution.

*To coordinate the rollout of fixed line products and other special projects.

*To liaise with different role players (Regions, Switching, Transmission, Commercial entities, PMO, SA's, Sales team, Network Quality and Suppliers) to ensure projects are completed according to Business targets and budget.

*Assist with different business cases for special projects.

*To manage equipment forecasts, orders, delivery, tracking and other logistics to ensure efficient rollout of fixed line products and converged solutions.

*To conduct Work Order meetings, supplier meetings and other project related meetings

*To attend and arrange project meetings and provide support to project management office teams

*Facilitate and design installation specifications required for fixed line products and converged solutions.

*Stream lining of all end to end fulfilment processes.

*Provide detailed plans for projects.

*Prepare and submit reports to management, and other relevant parties on project progress, network and project status.

*Provide input to presentations required by management relating to Access products and special projects.

*Prepare national Access services CPE CAPEX budget, motivate, review and control expenditure.

*Facilitate project acceptances (field and financial) and budget closure.

*Manage special sub-projects related to Access solutions and converged access projects.

*Facilitate appointment of suppliers and contractors including human resources.

*Review performance of suppliers / contractors against contracts

*Supplier and contract management

*Ensure compliance with Project Management policies and procedures

*Ensure contractor's adherence to health and safety policy

*Quality management and assurance

*Risk management i.t.o project deliverables and schedules

*Manage inter-regional and inter-divisional projects

*Management of all staff.

*Liaise with Supply Chain Management in supplier evaluation, setting up contracts, selection of contractors, as well as appointment and termination of contractors.

*Ensure that SLA's and installation timelines are met.

*Manage all site support and field services.

*Manage outsourced service management.

*Ensure that all site builds adhere to stringent specifications.

Job Experience:

*Minimum of 5 years Project Management experience (Essential)
