Description

One of the leading global investment banks have an urgent requirement for a Lead Business Analyst who has exposure to working on architecture projects and has worked with Master Data Management. You will play an integral part in helping to deliver the strategic objectives of the business by providing architecture governance and actively support risk management activities within and across programs. This role is within the Commercial Banking business. The successful candidate will have a track record of success in working on these types of projects in financial services.

This role is offering an initial 6 month contract and is paying up to £440 per day for the right candidate.

You will be based in London.

To be considered for this role you must have the following experience:
  • Relevant product knowledge including knowledge of Customer Master Data Management, Regulatory Projects.
  • Experience working in relevant environment/s, i.e. Software Delivery, Large Organisations, Matrix Management.
  • Experience working in relevant market/context, i.e. Banking and Finance.
  • Past working experience in a relevant role, i.e. Architect with a track record of providing architectural guidance and input to complex programmes and projects.
  • Past working experience on relevant systems, i.e. Master Data Management, Data integration and data quality tools and techniques.
  • Experience of using relevant software packages, i.e. IBM Info sphere MDM.
  • Relevant product knowledge including knowledge of BCBS, Financial Master Data Management is desirable.
  • Experience working in relevant environment/s, i.e. Multinational Organisations is desirable.
  • Experience working in relevant market/context, i.e. Commercial Banking is desirable.
  • Past working experience in a relevant role, i.e. data analysis, data integration, data quality, data architecture.


The successful candidate will be responsible for:
  • Designing successful architectures and solutions within a given scope, budget and timeframes
    * Interviewing key stakeholders to understand and document requirements.
    * Preparing solution clear choices to provide analysis on benefits/challenges.
    * Identifying operational and delivery risks.
  • Senior stakeholder management
    * Communicating the medium and long term vision to solve the business challenges
  • Strategy definition, planning and budgeting
    * Facilitate and chair architecture review sessions
    * Produce various system and data roadmaps in conjunction with enterprise architecture colleagues
