Operations Manager - London - Financial Services - 9 month Contract

My client, a leading financial services company, is recruiting for a Operations Manager to support the Operations Director to drive delivery of the programmes second phase, on a nine month contract based in London.

Key Responsibilities
  • Continuous improvement owner: drives initiatives to reduce waste and improve the customer experience, uses influence to remove blockages and barriers.
  • Effectively manages relationships both within and external to team.
  • Keen analytical skills - only makes decisions based on in-depth analysis of available data.
  • Demonstrates skills through sound planning and control.
  • Adapts to and manages change effectively and gains buy-in to minimise negative impact on people and process.
  • Oversees performance and people management for operation - directly responsible for own development and performance and development of direct reports.
  • Builds motivated, engaged, high-performing teams.
  • Displays and demonstrates strong coaching skills in all people interactions.
  • Highly organised and independent worker.
  • Procedural / product or specialist knowledge where role requires.
  • Provides strong leadership, direction and communication.
  • Working to deadlines
  • Working with a complex and demanding business maintaining positive relationships
  • Must be a "completer / finisher"
