My client a top tier investment bank is looking for a Market Data Engineer to join their expanding team based in London.

Market Data Platforms Support Engineer

* Experience of managing all levels of support for the RMDS / TREP Platform for end to end delivery of Market Data including the Data feeds from Thomson Reuters, other third parties such as Bloomberg, direct exchange, Wombat, feed connectivity plus ECNs and Broker connections.
* Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
* Good communication skills/- Logical thinker/problem solver who is self motivated and a strong contributor within a team.
* Ability to work independently or as part of team.
* Good time management skills.
* Excellent customer service skills.
* Excellent knowledge of Linux operating systems and ITRS Monitoring tools.
* Strong experience of DACS and maintenance upgrades is preferable.
* Network knowledge and experience in the following areas; LAN & WAN technologies, TCP/IP, DNS, Multicast, Internet technologies, Proxies, Firewall technologies.
* Experience of the use of the Thomson Reuters API and providing technical support to the internal Development Team. The candidate must be able to work in a highly dynamic environment with demanding users. The successful candidate will gain excellent exposure to the business area and products as well as the opportunity to work in a technically challenging, delivery focused environment.
