Description
My client is a multinational Medical Device/Pharmaceutical business that are now looking to hire a Quality Assurance Officer to join their site in Berkshire.Responsibilities include;
- Reporting to the EU Authorised Representative & QA Supply Chain Manager, Provide day-to-day assistance with medical device supply chain QA activities.
- Assist in device quality holds, releases and recalls
- Manage and assist in the resolution supply chain issues: Investigations, exception reports, complaints etc
- Support all supply chain activities in accordance with GDP expectations
- Assist in the maintenance of supply chain controlled documents
- Assist in the communications and relationships with EU Affiliate offices to supply chain requirements.
- Attend routine EMEA Operations meeting: Assist the overall EMEA QA team in meeting supply chain requirements.
- Assist in the device field action process and ensuring adequate control and traceability of records relating to closure reports.
- Support the EU Authorised Representative (EUAR) in all delegated duties.
- Assist in the preparation of dossiers for regulatory audits and inspections.
- Assist in the communications and relationships with field service centres, affiliates and distributors relating to field service corrective actions.
- Assist in the preparation of technical documentation for Competent Authority and Notified Body enquiries.
- Support the EUAR maintaining effective communication links with Clinical, Design, Regulatory and Manufacturing authorities and other pertinent departments.
- Assist / conduct supply chain internal audits / self-inspections.
Necessary requirements;
- 3 years experience
- Bachelors Degree in Biology/Chemistry/Pharmacy/Life Sciences
