Validation and Verification Engineer - KentA fast growth global supplier of Medical Device products is now looking to appoint a new Validation and Verification Engineer to join their team. The purpose of the role is to carry out verification & validation on new & existing products, followed up with comprehensive reports.
This is an excellent opportunity for a junior validation professional to get their foot in the door with a Global Medical Device company that can aid career progression.
Main Responsibilities:
- Works closely with all engineering disciplines including Systems Engineering, Project Management, and Quality personnel to verify and validate products.
- Define and develop test systems in the lab. Ensure that all test systems and equipment are appropriately validated and controlled.
- Work with project teams to create, review, and approve verification and validation deliverables
- Perform verification and validation testing on new & existing products.
- Review and analyse test data and record pass/fail criteria, results and conclusions.
- Track and report on progress toward completion of verification and validation Summarize the verification and validation performed, the data reviewed, and conclusions reached
- Author and review verification & validation reports
Qualification/Experience:
- Experience with test systems such as Test Link & defect tracking systems such as Mantis
- 3+ years of experience in design verification & validation
- Experience with product development verification per FDA design control and ISO 13485 desired
- Experience creating verification and validation plans, protocols, and reports
- Experience with requirements management, risk based testing approaches, defect tracking, and configuration control tools
- Understanding of engineering best practices and test methodologies
