Description
My client is currently looking for an Electrical Estimator with experience in the Utilities and Private Networks sector. The role is on a contract basis and will be for12 months based in Kent. The role will pay between £260 to £280 per day depending on experience. The client is looking for a candidate who is available to start immediately.Key responsibilities will include but not limited to:
- Assist in co-ordinating the tendering process from start to finish
- Identification and elimination of hazards in line with the methodology of CDM for all projects
- Engaging with subcontractors and encouraging competition and diversity of supply chain
- Representing the Organisation at client meetings
The ideal candidate will have:
- Will hold a formal qualification related to Electrical Engineering or Electrical Estimating discipline
- Strong background in Utilities, Private Networks and projects in the UK Rail Industry
- Knowledge of applicable legislation, standards, policies and procedures within Quantity Surveying and Estimating relevant to the a-fore mentioned sectors.
