FPGA Design Engineer / Xilinx / Altera / Ethernet / Contract / Yorkshire / 6 monthsI am recruiting an experienced FPGA Design Engineer for a 6 month contract to start in April 2015 for my client based in North Yorkshire.
The project is to design a high speed Ethernet solution for for the processing of financial information where real time information is highly important.
Skills/Experience:
- FPGAs: Altera (desirable), Xilinx Virtex, Kintex, Spartan
- Ethernet experience: 10Gbit Ethernet with embedded IP stack in FPGA
- High speed memory interfaces: DDR3 (or higher) memory
- Embedded Software, Linux, 32bit Microblaze CPU, embedded (desirable)
- Digital Comms: Modulation/ Demodulation, DVB, Bluetooth
- High speed data interfaces, PCIe,SATA, USB
- Test development, unit testing, regression tests, automated tests
